April Walkington – Prayer for Harry Grice (Tina’s husband) — he’s released from the hospital — he has been healed from double pneumonia but is having blood clots and it has been confirmed that the shadow on his lung is cancer — they will be doing a pet scan to determine if the cancer has spread; also, he has C.O.P.D.  and emphysema and is struggling with not smoking

Janet Gibson – Prayer for her son (Tommy) who has been in severe pain, but the doctors can’t find the problem — prayer that God will give them the knowledge to find out what is wrong and get him well again

Wynell Davis – (Lori Spinks’ mom) Prayer — is in Florida Hospital Sebring with a very bad cough, possibly pneumonia. Room 234

John Callis – (Arlie Thompson’s brother-in-law) Prayer —  was in a traffic accident yesterday running under a semi. He had to be cut out of the vehicle, has a broken clavicle, sternum, several ribs and leg. Was in surgery for 2 – 4 hours repairing his leg. The rest doctors say just has to heal on it’s own and he will go to rehab in about 3 days. John is 67 years old

Ken Weis – passed away last night. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. Funeral will be Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 3:00 PM. Both will be held at First United Methodist Church, 207 N. Seventh Ave, Wauchula.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Kenny’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1268, Wauchula FL 33873. Prayer for his family during this difficult time

Katelynn Painter - Update & PRAISE — Doctors said the tumor they removed 7 years ago had returned. She went to All Children’s for testing and the doctors didn’t see anything!

Kathryn Melendy – Prayer — is having exploratory surgery for cancer on Tuesday 2/22 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center

Prayer for the family of Tony Soto who was killed in a horrific accident yesterday. Prayer for the person that caused the accident

Tim Johns – (friend of Sue Smit) is in Florida Hospital Heartland, Room 335 with kidney infection problems. Is having surgery Monday (2/14) morning. UPDATE: is at home 2/15

Kathy Hawk – Prayer for the family of the accident victim and for the co-workers who witnessed such a horrific accident; prayer for the responders — may God “cloud that memory for all”; and also prayer for the one who caused the accident — may God bring him through this

Prayer for Michelle Mayo and her family. Her father (in Wauchula) had a Grand Mall Seizure on 2/9 and is being airlifted to Tampa General Hospital for surgery. Her mom has health issues, doesn’t drive; and Michelle is her only means of transportation. Michelle asks that we pray for strength and God’s Will. (Ss)
