Cassidy Knight – passed away (3/29). TONIGHT, THURS., March 31, 2011 at 6:00pm. A Celebration of Cassidy Knight’s Life at Knight’s Hangout. Her funeral will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church, Wauchula, 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers Cassidy would have liked donations to go to Hardee Animal Services or The Ronald McDonald House. Prayer for her family during this difficult time:

Joe Bryant – (Debbie Blum’s dad) Prayer,  is in the Wauchula ER 3/30. They transferred him to Tampa General, ICU, Rm. D-215.  The gases from the H2O2 caused a gas embolism which in turn caused several mini-strokes in the brain. At the moment there is damage, but only time will tell how extensive.  Debbie knows God is still performing miracles everyday, please pray for one now.

Bryan See – Prayer — was taken to the ER in Lakeland Sunday night; several heart related tests were done and nothing was found.

Jackie See – Prayer — is not feeling well

Kathryn Melendy – Prayer — is doing well after four surgeries, will see an oncologist in April.

April Walkington – Prayer for safety for everyone during the severe thunderstorms expected Thursday.

Prayer for the Knight family; Cassidy (Chip’s daughter) was in an accident on a Polaris yesterday and she isn’t doing well. She is in Tampa General Hospital and most of the family is there.

Tina Barwick – Praise — she’s thankful to God for being there and giving her the power to slay the drug & alcohol giant 5 years ago

Debbie Blum – Unspoken prayer

Linda Hernandez – Prayer for her cousin (Olga) who had a mini-stroke which left her face deformed — prayer for healing and a complete recovery; also continued prayer throughout the next month to help her & Eddie get through this tough time of year

Kathy Hawk – Prayer for her dad (Cliff Jones) — he’s not doing well — possibly pneumonia — her mom took him to the hospital this morning (Sunday)

Kimberly Miller & Selena Ureste – Prayer for their mom (Denise Miller) — lesion on brain has grown and is enlarged and the liver is enlarged — she started chemo Friday (3/25) — she’s scared and needs peace. The family is worn — prayer for lifting of hearts & spirits. Prayer that Jesus will shine through them during this time

Paul Ureste – Prayer to “cut off the enemy’s head” on certain things — is tired of the enemy beating him and his family up — prayer to fight hard with the enemy

Dee Williams-Tatis – Praise to God for answered prayer. Prayer for postal employees facing job loss

Jonathon  Painter – (Gene Davis’ grandson) Prayer — fell breaking his arm last week and is scheduled for surgery Thur. 3/24

Gene Davis asks prayer for Donald Rhoden — has a tumor pressing on his spine, is scheduling surgery

Linda Hernandez – Prayer — this is a rough time of year for her & Eddie — they’re asking God to lift them up and get them through this time

Tina Grice – Thankful for blessings from the Hardee County Cancer Foundation; also unspoken prayer request for their family and extended family troubles

Don Bissette – Prayer for Polly & her family — her father (Claude Harris, Sr.) is in Lakeland with heart problems and they can’t find the problem; also prayer that God will continue to give him (Don) strength in his endeavor to help those with cancer in Hardee County

Michael & Renee Johnston – Praise — Mike Albritton will be coming home in 2 weeks — everything seems to be going good — they want to thank everyone for their prayers

Dee Newgent – Praise — Thankful for the prayers and cards over the past months — please continue to remember her in prayer — she hopes to be back in church soon

Don & Carol Merillot – (friends of Arlie & Linda Thompson) Prayer — Don was taken by ambulance to the hospital Sun. morning having severe shoulder pain. He came home later with some pain medication and has been sleeping well and feeling better. He goes to a Sebring orthopedic dr. about his rotor cup today

Cody Svendsen – (Terri & Ted Svendsen’s nephew) was killed in a tragic accident today. Prayer for his family during this difficult time

Elizabeth Deleon – (Dawn Atkinson-Jones’ friend) Prayer — lost her baby yesterday and is really devastated by it

D. Williams-Tatis – Prayer for her son (Hasan) — God is working on him — Prayer that he will listen and obey; also Praise — God protected her son (Captain Kenneth Williams) and his family in Japan

Tina Barwick – Praise – She was listening when the Holy Spirit told her to come to church expecting to hear what God wanted her to hear and to receive it — she heard!!

Nina Macias – Thankful for all the prayers for her — God answered!!

Prayer request for Karen Whaley & family – Karen’s grandmother (Essie Willis) passed away on Saturday

Lara Bryant – Prayer for her uncle, Roy Whaley (Lisa McGee’s dad) — his appendix burst Sunday morning — he’s having some complications and had to go back to O.R.

Don Bissette – Prayer for his granddaughter (Amanda Bissette) — she’s 18 years old and has mono and possible cancer — her biopsy should be back some time next week; also prayer for his sister (Lola Skok) — she has had 5 by-pass surgeries and now needs another heart surgery

Missy Massey – Prayer for some decisions she needs to make — she wants to listen to God

Arrangements for Pete Albritton are as follows: Visitation 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Robarts Family Funeral Home, Wauchula. Funeral is Friday, March 11, 2011, 2:30 PM at First United Methodist Church, Bowling Green. Prayer for his family during this difficult time.

Gene Davis asks prayer for Lela Newsome – is in Lakeland Regional having had a heart attack last Thursday. She is doing better, however her conjestive heart failure is hindering her treatment.

George Watson – Prayer — is doing well in his recuperation, (is still in rehab’)

Harry Grice and his family – Prayer — he is diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs and will start chemo Monday, March 14th. They do not know what stage the cancer is in.

Lidenia Servin asks prayer for her co-worker’s family. Bud Heggie’s mother-in-law passed away Monday. Arrangements for Christine Harrell are; visitation Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bowling Green Church of God. Funeral is Friday, March 11,2010 at 10:00 AM, Bowling Green Church of God. Prayer for her family during this difficult time

Pete Albritton passed away this morning. Prayer for his daughter having a hard time with his death.

Tracy Davis – Prayer to get rid of the burden she is carrying for someone else, who can’t see what they are doing is not of God — prayer that she will have the strength and wisdom to love them through it

Don Simmers – Prayer to be more sensitive to others and to be a better example and witness

Tammy Hall-Crosby & Family – Praise — God saved her and Eli from being killed in a near car crash on their way to church this morning

Tony & Lisa Stockton – Prayer for them to follow whatever opportunity God gives them

Billy Wingate – Prayer — he is in Highland’s Regional Hospital with unknown infections. Prayer  for healing; he is also diabetic and on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant

Wynell Davis – Praise – is home from the hospital

John Callis – (Arlie Thompson’s Brother) Has not been doing well since his car wreck, he had many broken bones and is now in the cardiac unit of the hospital with a severe blockage in the bottom of his heart.

Christabel – (Frankie & Billy Green’s granddaughter) Prayer — 7 years old with bladder infections for several months. An All Children’s Pediatric Urologist has put her on a medication for several weeks, then will re-evaluate her condition.

Pete Albritton – Prayer — is now under hospice care, also prayer for his daughter, she is not taking his condition well
