Show Kids World Some Love!

During the month of February, please pick up a few of the following items to donate to Kids World. We are in need of some “blessings” to keep us running smoothly! A special “blessings box” will be located near the Kids World Welcome Center…thank you for supporting our Kids World Programming…God Bless You!

Items needed:

Markers, Crayons, kid scissors, glue sticks, play-doh (name brand only please…) stickers, goldfish crackers, saltine crackers, cherrios, M&M’s and other individually wrapped candy.

NOTE: We are also looking for short or tall bookcases to store toys, books and supplies…Have any you don’t want anymore? Let Miss Jen know!:)

Arlie Thompson – Praise – - On Tuesday (1/24) he had a heart attack and was transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center by ambulance – - the doctor inserted a stint in a 100% blocked artery – - by the grace of God he’s OK with little or no damage to his heart

Dee Williams-Tatis – Prayer for Malik – - he will be having surgery on Thursday (2/2) – - prayer for God’s peace

Jame Gaskins – Praise – - she’s in complete and total AWE of God for how He showed up in mighty ways through the fundraiser for Chloe – - she wants to remind the church that when you step out on faith, God will work in mighty ways

Amy Knight – Prayer for traveling mercies for Joshua as he comes home from Afghanistan

Karen Whaley – Prayer for Nick Battles – - he’s very sick with a high fever and infection

Jen Canary – Prayer – - her Poppa had a stroke and has been in the hospital since Monday night (1/23) – - rehab is needed; please pray also for her Grammy as she needs extra strength as she lovingly cares for him during this struggle

Carolyn Hilt (SonHaven) – Prayer for healing – - she had a car accident this past week and suffered more back injuries – - she’s getting better and will be back at school soon

Don and Carol Merillat (friends of Arlie & Linda Thompson) – Prayer – - He leads the Bible study in the Crystal Lake RV Park – - he has only one leg, and the knee of it is swelling and very painful – - he also has some heart issues, so needs lots of prayers; also pray for Carol, as she is his “helper”.

April Walkington - Was put back in the hospital yesterday (Sunday) with spinal fluid leaking. They had to give her several units of blood because of her hemoglobin being very low. This morning (Monday) her blood count is up to normal levels and an MRI showed normal and the blood patch is working. The doctor says she will get to go home today. She’ll have to take it easy for a few days, but all appears well. She and Aaron are thankful for their family and friends and all the love, prayers and support they’ve received. Please continue to keep them in prayer.
